Prime Minister to Guatemala

The Prime Minister of Belize, Hon. Said Musa, leaves Belize tomorrow to
attend a one day meeting in Guatemala entitled, "The Fourth Meeting of
Heads of State of Countries and Participants of the Mechanisms of
Dialogue and Consultations of Tuxtla."

The meeting will be held in Guatemala City, and will include Central
American countries and Mexico.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Musa and other Heads of State, including
Mexico's outgoing President, Dr. Ernesto Zedillo, will have
opportunities for private discussions. Issues to be discussed include
the current situation which exists in Central America and Mexico, and
the exploration of possible areas of cooperation between the countries.

Prime Minister Musa will return to Belize on Saturday, August 26th
2000.
